Hidden away in the leafy streets of Woolloongabba, but no secret to Brisbane’s food-lovers, you’ll find our venue of the month Pawpaw Café.
Pawpaw is famous for all day breakfasts, creative lunches and mouth-watering Thai-inspired dinners. It’s easy to while away an evening in one of Pawpaw’s three airy, Bali-chic dining rooms with a cocktail in hand, feasting on the delectable seasonally changing menu.
We’ve also partied at Pawpaw several times in the past few months - they have a beautiful unique function space for parties, weddings and events.

COCKTAIL ONE: LAVENDER BUTTERFLY
45ml Ink Gin
15ml St Germain (Elderflower Liqueur)
15ml Lavender Syrup
10ml Lime Juice
Method: Mix Ink Gin, St Germain, lavender syrup and lime juice together in a glass. Top with ice and tonic. Garnish with an edible flower.
Lavender syrup recipe: in a saucepan mix 1 part white sugar, 1 part water and a handful of lavender petals. Bring to the boil, cool and strain.
COCKTAIL TWO: COCONUT DREAM
30ml Pure Cane
60ml Coconut Water
60ml Coconut Cream
15ml Cointreau (Triple sec)
10ml Sugar Syrup
Method: Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake hard and strain into a rocks glass. Garnish with coconut flakes, mint and lime.
