Visiting Husk Farm Distillery

After years of planning, building, flooding and building again, Husk Farm Distillery is now open. Come for a walk-through tour of the production facility, or enjoy the spoils of fresh local produce in our Planters café. Sip an original Husk cocktail in the cellar door and take home your own bottle for later.

Distillery Tours $35 pp

Follow the journey from paddock to bottle, and learn how we make our single estate agricole rum and Ink Gin.

Distillery tours last for around 45 minutes and include a gin and tonic on arrival, an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the distillery before finishing with a rum tasting flight in the barrel house.

Book at tour during the week and you might see the production team in action - bottling, fermenting, distilling or crushing sugar cane during the harvest season (August-October).

Husk is an easy 20 minute drive from Coolangatta, 45 minutes from Byron Bay and 1.5 hours from Brisbane. Ubers and Taxis are available.

Cellar Door & Bar

At the Husk Distillers cellar door and bar you’ll find a seasonally changing cocktail list, showcasing Husk spirits paired with native botanicals and locally grown ingredients.

Explore the range with a rum flight, or purchase a bottle to take home.

The cellar door is home to limited release products not found anywhere else.

Planters

It’s all about the spirits, but there is nothing better then sipping a cocktail while nibbling on something delectable. Our on-site cafe serves up local Blackboard coffee as well as a simple menu of boozy cakes, pastries and chocolates infused with Ink Gin and Pure Cane.

If you’re after lunch we have a daily selection of baguette sandwiches as well as our signature grazing boards loaded with local produce, perfect to share between two.

Wednesday - Thursday 10am-5pm

Friday, Saturday, Sunday 10am-6pm

Monday, Tuesday CLOSED FOR PRODUCTION

Walk-ins only - at this time we are not taking reservations for tables. Saturdays and Sundays are our busiest days and there may be a short wait time, however will endeavour to seat you as fast as possible as tables become available.

Children are welcome on the lawn or in the cafe, but must be closely supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Please remember that Husk is a working farm and distillery as well as a licensed bar.

We LOVE dogs but unfortunately we can’t host your pups in the licensed venue so it’s best to leave them at home.
