  • 3 Strawberries

  • 3 Lime wedges

Ti Punch 2.jpg

Ti’PUNCH [TEE punsshhh]

The Ti’Punch is to the French-Caribbeans what the gin and tonic is to the English. According to the tradition of ‘chacun prépare sa propre morte’ (each prepares his own death), when ordered in the Caribbean you’re given a bottle of white agricole, bowls of lime and sugar and left to your own devices.

Ingredients

  • 60ml Pure Cane

  • 1 Lime coin

  • 1 teaspoon of sugar / cane syrup

Method

Place your sugar / cane syrup in the glass. Squeeze and drop the lime coin over the sugar. Add rum and gently stir until dissolved. Ice optional.

El Presidente 2.jpg

EL PRESIDENTE

A Cuban classic. Most of these recipes originated where rum did – in the Caribbean and the Americas. Mix with Australian Agricole for world-class cocktails to impress.

  • 15ml Dry Vermouth

  • 5ml Triple Sec (Cointreau, Gran Marnier, etc)

  • 5ml Grenadine

  • Orange Peel

  • Maraschino Cherry

Method

Add all ingredients to shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with orange peel and maraschino cherry.

Husk Lime & Soda.jpg

HLS – HUSK, LIME & SODA

Turn your vodka-loving friends to rum-loving friends (much more fun). Try with either Pure Cane or Spiced Bam Bam.

  • 30ml Pure Cane

  • 90ml Soda Water

  • Lime Wedge

Add ice to a short glass. Squeeze that lime, add Pure Cane and soda.

Spiced Bam Bam Cocktails:

Bam Bam Butt copy.jpg

HOTT BUTT

Winter or not, everyone likes a Hot Butt! Adapt the spices to suit your taste.

Ingredients

  • 60ml Spiced Bam Bam

  • 1 small slice of soft butter (real butter!)

  • 1 teaspoon of honey

  • 3 cloves

  • 1 Star anise

  • 1 cinnamon stick

  • 120ml of hot water

Method

Add all spices, butter and honey to a cup. Pour the rum on top and stir well. Let it sit for about 30 seconds. Add the hot water and stir again. Make sure that your water is hot, but not boiling. If the water is too hot it can ruin the flavours of the drink - think like making tea.

Bam Bam on the rocks with orange copy.jpg

ON THE ROCKS

Straight up, bottoms up.

Ingredients

  • 60ml Spiced Bam Bam

  • Ice cube(s) (optional)

  • Orange wheel (optional)

Method

Neat, on the rocks or with a refreshing twist of orange.

Hemmingway Daiquiri copy.jpg

HEMINGWAY DAIQUIRI

Designed in Cuba for the wordsmith himself. Some of the great literary classics of our time were written with a Hemingway Daiquiri in hand, so get shaking and get those creative juices flowing.

Ingredients

  • 60ml Spiced Bam Bam

  • 30ml Maraschino Liqueur

  • 30ml Lime Juice

  • 15ml Grapefruit Juice

Method

Add all ingredients to a Boston and shake with ice. Double strain into a Martini or Coupe glass. Garnish with grapefruit or maraschino cherry.

Spiced Old Fashioned 2 copy.jpg

SPICED OLD FASHIONED

A spicy take on the classic. Dangerously easy to make and drink.

Ingredients

  • 60ml Spiced Bam Bam

  • 3 dashes of Bitters

  • Sugar

  • Orange peel

Method

Add your preferred sugar to glass, drop the bitters on top of it. Add ice, rum and then stir it for 20 seconds. Garnish with orange peel.

Tip: There are plenty of bitters out there, no need to stick with the classic. Try orange bitters for the Old Fashioned.
