In November Husk will be teaming up with Mornington Peninsula’s JimmyRum and the legends at Bad Frankie for an afternoon of rummy fun.

James from JimmyRum will be going head-to-head with Husk’s own Edwina to wax lyrical on all things molasses v. agricole. We’ll take a deep dive on the intricacies of the two vastly different production methods, aided by samples of our rums at various points of the process. From the raw ingredients - molasses and fresh cane juice - to samples of the different effects of pot and column distillation, as well as some of Bad Frankie’s famous all-Aussie cocktails. Because what’s better than show & tell? Show & taste.

Can’t make it on the day? Pop into Bad Frankie anyway and have a slurp on our fave from their new cocktail list, the “Ken Oath Cooler”, featuring an all-local cast of Husk Pure Cane, AHD Gunnery Spiced, Ord River Premium and AHD Bitter Orange, with macadamia, pineapple and lime. Served in a deliciously kitsch Australiana mug.
